As a National Board Certified educator in public schools since 2006, I've taught writing, literature, mythology, and social sciences. I transitioned out of the classroom in 2022 to serve as a facilitator of teacher professional learning, and I now serve as a coach to new classroom teachers.

 

I'm currently immersed in completing my PhD dissertation. My research utilizes feminist narrative methodologies to explore systemic support for educators involved in equity work.

 

I'm also an amateur photographer, dancer, retired circus acrobat, and a devoted animal enthusiast with a special affection for cats. 

Currently residing in Portland Oregon, I've also lived in Cambodia, the Netherlands, Germany, Virginia, Washington, and Maryland.
